In serving our mission of connecting people to plant-based medicine, we have created two custom formulating herbal apothecaries in the Maryland and DC area.  Our apothecaries stock high quality organic herbal medicines and essential oil products to support and enrich lasting wellness.

What is An Apothecary?
The word ‘apothecary’ comes from the Latin word apotheca, meaning, ‘storehouse.’  Traditionally apothecaries were herbal storehouses of plant medicines used by local healers to formulate blends for their patients.  Today, apothecaries continue to be used by clinical herbalists to custom compound herbal medicine formulas.

Herbal Products & Services

Our Deep Green Apothecaries are pleased to offer customized herbal teas, tinctures, powders, salves, and aromatherapy blends. We also carry homeopathic remedies, healing skin salves, and nutritional supplements.

In addition, Deep Green Apothecary also has individual items for sale ranging from glass travel mugs, aromatherapy inhalers, to Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.

Customized herbal preparations are available to clients of Ashley Litecky, Elyse Williams, or any other trained clinical herbalist registered at our dispensary. To schedule a consultation please contact one of our two locations listed below.
